Manakai is an 79ft/23.8m Carey and LomOcean designed expedition vessel that was launched in Opua, New Zealand in 2020 with a stern extension added in 2023.

She is owned and skippered by brothers Adam and Nat Davey of Russell who each have 30 years commercial offshore experience, as well as extensive diving and game fishing experience around New Zealand and the South Pacific.
